Consists of Marketing, Market Access and Sales:
- The Exelixis Marketing department develops brand strategies and promotional materials for Exelixis promoted products, while also managing the commercial engagement of key thought leaders in the markets we serve. These teams create educational materials for physicians and patients on kidney cancer and liver cancer. They plan commercial launches and provide a commercial viewpoint on life cycle planning for in-line and potential new products.
- The Exelixis Market Access team is responsible for ensuring patients have access to Exelixis products prescribed as part of their treatment. The team manages business relationships with payers, providers, and distributors.
- The primary role of our field Sales team with their Commercial support colleagues is to disseminate clinical information about Exelixis’ products and services for patients to healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, reimbursement manager, and pharmacists.
