A commitment to our corporate values, environment, society and governance
As we scale our business, pipeline and infrastructure to meet the challenges posed by cancer on a global basis, we also bring urgency and momentum to contributing positively to society at large. We view everything we do through the lens of delivering for our patients, and our environmental, social and governance (ESG) program aligns with this socially oriented mission.
Our approach to ESG
Exelixis’ mission is to help cancer patients recover stronger and live longer. As we strive to extend and improve cancer patients’ lives, we also recognize the need to contribute positively to the world in which we operate and the communities where we live and work. To that end, each Exelixis employee is expected to commit to the highest standards of ethical behavior and maintain values and principles that reflect both global awareness and sustainability. This means integrating environmental, social and ethical governance considerations directly into our research and development projects and business operations as we strive to create sustained value for all our stakeholders.

We ensure no patient prescribed an Exelixis medicine will go without it due to lack of insurance or inability to pay.
